In order to avoid spoilers for new players, or those who haven't romanced Tali before, this guide is not a detail oriented, in-depth walkthough. Rather, it simply lays out the parameters required to complete each goal. Although you are required to fill in the gaps, as long as you take your time, think about your decisions, and follow the necessary steps, this guide contains enough information to ensure your success
This guide does not include details on how to successfully navigate relationships with your other squad members or their loyalty missions (with the exception of Tali and Legion). This guide does however include details on how to successfully navigate the suicide mission at the end of Mass Effect 2
PERSONAL PREFERENCE: If you wish to develop your relationship with Tali as far as possible, along with experiencing all of her unique dialogue, once she becomes available as a squadmate I suggest taking Tali on every mission

[1] HOW TO ROMANCE TALI'ZORAH:
[A] MASS EFFECT 1:
Tali as a love interest is only available to male Shepard
► Tali is not available as a love interest in Mass Effect 1, but she available as a love interest in Mass Effect 2 & 3
► Even though Tali is not available as a love interest in Mass Effect 1, from a story perspective it is important to develop your relationship with her as far as possible
After every mission, upon returning to the Normandy, go down to Engineering and speak with Tali, this ensures that you've progressed through the ongoing conversation as far as possible and haven't missed out on any dialogue

[B] MASS EFFECT 2:
Consult '[4] Mass Effect 2: The fastest way to recruit Tali'Zorah' before progressing
After every mission, upon returning to the Normandy, go down to Engineering and speak with Tali by selecting "I want to talk about you," this ensures that you've progressed through the ongoing conversation as far as possible and haven't missed out on any dialogue
Consult '[5] Mass Effect 2: How to complete Tali'Zorah's loyalty mission' before progressing
Upon completing 'Tali: Treason', Tali officially becomes available as a love interest
► After every mission, upon returning to the Normandy, go down to Engineering and speak with Tali by selecting "I want to talk about you," this ensures that you've progressed through the ongoing conversation as far as possible and haven't missed out on any dialogue
Eventually, Tali will inform you that she has a small fever, this is when the option to first flirt with Tali becomes available
► Around this time Kelly Chambers will also inform Shepard of Tali's romantic interest towards you
► When Tali confesses her feelings for you, progress through the dialogue by reciprocating with advances of your own
► Upon ending the conversation, continue to go down to Engineering after every mission to progress through the ongoing romantic dialogue
Consult '[6] Mass Effect 2: How to ensure Tali'Zorah survives the suicide mission' before progressing
Upon completing the suicide mission, continue with the game, go down to Engineering and speak with Tali
► After speaking with Tali, she will be available to invite up to you cabin
► Invite Tali up to your cabin to unlock additional romance scenes

Tali arrives aboard the Normandy
► Invite her up to your cabin to speak in private
► Progress through the dialogue by informing her of your intentions to rekindle the relationship
Rannoch: Admiral Koris
► Save Admiral Zaal'Koris
Rannoch: Geth Fighter Squadrons
► Disable the server
Priority: Rannoch
► Allow Legion to upload the Reaper code
► Use either Charm or Intimidate to convince the Quarian fleet to stand down
► Progress through the dialogue by informing her of your intentions to rekindle the relationship
After every mission, upon returning to the Normandy, go down to Engineering and speak with Tali, this ensures that you've progressed through the ongoing conversation as far as possible and haven't missed out on any dialogue
Silver Coast Casino: Infiltration (Citadel DLC)
► Choose Tali as your date to unlock unique dialogue during this mission
► Regardless of Brooks insistence, there is no time constraint on this mission, so use this opportunity to spend time with Tali as you mingle around the casino floor together
Ensure you have gained 7,500 War Assets or above before engaging 'Priority: Cerberus Headquarters'
Priority: Cerberus Headquarters
► Choose Tali as a squadmate to unlock romance dialogue during this mission
► While working your way through the Cerberus Headquarters, there will be three "Cerberus Video Logs" and one "Cerberus Audio Log" which will unlock unique romance dialogue. While there is a sense of urgency, there is no time constraint on this mission, so take your time exploring your surroundings to ensure you have found all of the logs
Priority: Earth
► Choose Tali as a squadmate to unlock romance dialogue at the end of the mission
If you have gained 7,500 War Assets or above, choose Destroy to unlock an additional scene at the end of the game
► Even though it isn't expressly visualized, the additional scene at the end of the game has lore implications for your romantic relationship with Tali

After both 'Tali: Treason' and 'Legion: A House Divided' are completed a conflict will arise between Tali and Legion
► Use either Charm or Intimidate to resolve the conflict

[3] MASS EFFECT 1: HOW TO COMPLETE TALI'ZORAH'S PILGRIMAGE:
UNC: Geth Incursions
► Travel to the Armstrong Nebula, upon which you will receive a transmission from Admiral Hackett detailing reports of increased Geth activity in the area. Travel to each of the four systems within the Armstrong Nebula and clear the Geth outpost in each one
System: Vamshi
► Planet: Maji
System: Hong
► Planet: Casbin
System: Tereshkova
► Planet: Antibaar
System: Gagarin
► Planet: Rayingri
Upon clearing the fourth outpost you will receive a transmission revealing the location of the primary Geth base, also located inside of the Armstrong Nebula
System: Grissom
► Planet: Notanban's moon, Solcrum
After clearing the base, obtain the Geth data by hacking a terminal located inside of the current outpost
Return to the Normandy and speak with Tali in Engineering, where she will ask you for a copy of the Geth data you gathered during your mission
► Allow Tali to make a copy of the files

[5] MASS EFFECT 2: HOW TO COMPLETE TALI'ZROAH'S LOYALTY MISSION:
Mission: Freedom's Progress
► Release Veetor'Nara into Tali's custody
Dossier: Tali
► Convince Kal'Reegar to stand down, including the use of the Paragon interrupt
Tali: Treason
► Some time after recruiting Tali'Zorah, Kelly Chambers will inform you that Tali seems distraught after receiving a message. Speak with Tali in Engineering to acquire the mission and to reveal the location of the Migrant Fleet
Travel to the Raheel-Leyya system in the Valhallan Threshold and dock with the Migrant Fleet
► Upon docking with the Migrant Fleet, speak with the Quarian admirals to reveal the details of the mission and to uncover the intentions behind the trial
Speak with both Kal'Reegar and Veetor'Nara and ask them to give testimony on Tali's behalf
Board the Alarei and advance with the mission
Return to the Migrant Fleet and proceed with the hearing
► Use either Charm or Intimidate to convince the Admiralty Board of Tali's innocence
► When asked whether or not you found any evidence aboard the Alarei, lie in order to exonerate Tali's father

[6] MASS EFFECT 2: HOW TO ENSURE TALI'ZORAH SURVIVES THE SUICIDE MISSION:
Consult '[4] Mass Effect 2: The fastest way to recruit Tali'Zorah' before progressing
► Ensure that every squad member has been recruited to your team
Consult '[5] Mass Effect 2: How to complete Tali'Zorah's loyalty mission' before progressing
► Upon recruiting all of your squad members, ensure that each one of their loyalty missions has been completed, resulting in their loyalty
Speak with Jacob, choose "investigate" and then "[NORMANDY UPGRADES]"
► Under "Ship Enhancements" select and research "Heavy Ship Armor"
Speak with Garrus, choose "investigate" and then "[NORMANDY UPGRADES]"
► Under "Ship Enhancements" select and research "Thanix Cannon"
Speak with Tali, choose "investigate" and then "[NORMANDY UPGRADES]"
► Under "Ship Enhancements" select and research "Multicore Shielding"
Ensure that every available mission has been completed before moving forward
DO NOT ENGAGE 'Mission: Reaper IFF' until all of the above parameters have been met
After both 'Tali: Treason' and 'Legion: A House Divided' are completed a conflict will arise between Tali and Legion
► Use either Charm or Intimidate to resolve the conflict
Launch the Suicide Mission
Collector Base: Infiltration
► Vent Specialist: Legion or Kasumi
► Fireteam Leader: Garrus or Miranda
Collector Base: The Long Walk
► Barrier Specialist: Jack or Samara
► Fireteam Leader: Garrus or Miranda
► When Dr. Chakwas inquires about the crew and their route back to the Normandy, select "I'll have someone escort you," and choose either Mordin or Jacob
Collector Base: Final Battle
► When selecting your two squadmates for the final battle, take Tali along with you, and ensure that you select her first on the squadmate selection screen to unlock additional scenes between you and her at the end of the mission
